A Park Date in October

3:29 PM

Last weekend we had a couple gorgeous Autumn days so Jason and I decided to go to a park for a sort of date. I wanted to visit one that is bigger and more scenic, but it was an hour away and the day was going to get away from us so I found something more local. Our first park here!

We picked up some McDonald's that Jason had been talking about craving and headed to the park. I had my first quarter pounder. I have to admit it was kinda delicious. :P
We enjoyed the balmy day bursting with color. A month ago the leaves were turning but not that fast. Now they are turning from top to bottom and are exploding with vibrancy!
These images have not been tampered with except for bringing the light back into them. It's been a memorable Autumn this year.

We also came across some other park visitors while there. One of them had just gotten married. I have never seen a pink formal vehicle like this before! The bride got out of the vehicle and started dancing. I couldn't get better photos than this. There was also a photo shoot going on up on the hill:
We had a lot of fun just being us and enjoying each other in the park. We sat under a pretty tree munching our lunch. Discovering the trails all over was a delight. It's been awhile since I have been in wood like trails. The great thing is this place is only 10 minutes away from us! More visits in our future. :)
After the park we went home on a scenic route where we saw more gorgeous Autumn!
Also some of these are what we see on the way to church too. :) I even captured some of our
            Amish friends!
The October skies have been stunning too! Reminds me of a painting. God is one amazing artist!
Still there's no place like home.

While all this nature is breathtaking...
the best thing in life is experiencing it
beside the one I love with all my heart.
Another month has come and gone. As we say goodbye to October 2014, we celebrate a new month, November 1st, with chocolate sprinkled caramel apple deliciousness. :)
