A Dandy Filled Valentines

Umm...
FOCUS!!!
Though there's so much information that I learn from being added to so many groups and helpful information at that. Useful information! When I am writing or doing something else I really gotta start closing out of Facebook cause it can be worse than Netflix in this house which has also been a winter go to.
Speaking of winter we got dumped with 6 inches of snow this week and heard that our area's snow removal budget is completely depleted! WOW! I feel bad for the people who may get fired over poor management or resources...
I mean seriously...does this look like $51 million would be spent on snow removal??
Jason laughs. I'm in shock. I never even knew $51 million could be spent on so little snow. Maybe Ky spends that much too. Mind.Officially.Blown.
Winter has been bumming me out. We had a few warmer days before the snowmageddon which were nice. Our hubcap flew off somewhere and so we had to replace those. I now know how to replace hubcaps. Eeeeasy peeasy!
Never a dull moment in my home. Thankfully soon we will have reliable insurance set up where I can start seeing some doctors. I am strongly suspecting hyperthyroid with the hormonal issues, depression, and anxiety. Been tested three times but I'm convinced they haven't tested me right. Going to explore that whole T3, T4 bit. I also am having Dejavu at the moment with writing this. Have I wrote about this already in a blog post? If so, you won't forget it now! HAHA!
I was sooo glad that Valentine's Day came this past weekend. Jason got off early on Friday and with President's day off and the snow days where the base closed, he had a little over a 4 day weekend where he could be home!
We decided not to go out for Valentine's Day because of traffic nightmares, impending doom of having to wait in the longest lines ya ever did see to get a table reservation, and anything else that would swallow up our day and evening. Friday we went out with a budget in mind and bought everything within budget.
Jason made breakfast and we ate in bed while we watched some netflix, and for lunch we made some pink chocolate chip pancakes with fresh strawberry topping. Mmmm!
We had a delicious home cooked ribeye steak dinner and I bought some candles for ambience. The electric candles are from this past year's Christmas Eve white elephant party. Puttin' them babies to use alright! :D
(Disclaimer: I am super thrilled over these collages. While trying to make them I had three failed attempts from a slow running computer that kept crashing my program which I am now in the process of working on) before I wanted to quit and give up. Turns out the fourth try of pumping this blog post out is the best yet! I love these! )

After dinner we had a RELAXING romantic bubble bath. I loved arranging the cheap candles we picked up at walmart in such a way with classical music in the background where it felt like we were in a hotel suite or spa. Jasmine and Rose bath salts, sweet florally bubble bath solution, and 17 candles. That's how ya do it right!
I had to squeeze a little out of Jason for this one, but he agreed to dress in red to match me. I dawned on my best red lipstick combination thanks to some experimenting, my favorite ever gold scarf that is wearing down with conspicuous holes (so sad), and we did a little mini Photo Booth style shoot for the memories. :) He's such a good sport putting up with my wild ideas. ^_^
We had a dandy of a time celebrating out first Valentine's Day married. I hope you love birds out there did too! ^_^
You guys are too cute! I have some social anxiety as well at times! :( I know the feeling unfortunately! YOU'll be fine cause you're awesome!
