Our "May"velous Month

3:31 PM

I have to admit I struggled coming up with a title for this one. The more one writes the harder it gets to find millions of various titles that won't repeat themselves. OH THE STRUGGLE! That can go for phrases and expressions too. ;)

This month Jason started TBS and it's been a rocking one. This morning I never would have thought to find myself waking up to scrubbing cammies (Jason's uniforms), with baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, laundry detergent, and stain remover in our sink!

Right now I have them soaking in the washer with vinegar, hoping that it will take out the remaining dirt stains caked on them. I have heard that it gets worse and one wife suggested putting them on, jumping in the tub and scrubbing away!

Visualizing myself sitting in the bathtub with hot water, dish soap, a scrub brush, and wearing my husband's cammies is THE BEST comedic relief from such a stubborn task! It is going to require some serious work up time to be comfortable with that picture. Hence! This is the life I have chosen. Haha!

I have been working on several projects in the month of May. Spring cleaning (a little late I know), decorating, and making our house feel more like a home. Learning more techniques on frugal living, living them out, and getting systems down that I can repeat and use wherever I go. It's been so satisfying!

I've been able to help several with their finances as I am sort of informally teaching budgets, financial responsibility, techniques, etc. to other wives, and I've continued blog designing/maintaining, computer troubleshooting, malware removal, virus removal, and technical support. All subjects I adore.

I'm also doing some major researching on blog expansion, traffic, and possibly in the future actually making some cash! It's been so inspiring joining several blogging groups and hearing these lady's testimonies of being stay at home wives/moms and making a living off of blogging. I have so much farther to go! I'm still new to the blogging world and am in the learning process myself. Everything has a starting point.

One of my biggest upcoming projects makes me squeal with delight inside as I think about it! I think it's going to make a huge difference in the world of the technology and it's something that has been voiced as in demand. I've been listening to the cries of the people and have come up with an idea that has potential to take off. It's not exactly inventing, but revolutionizing something that already exists to make it more accessible, usable, and effective. So I guess reinventing. It's a passion of mine too. ;) I know. I know.

I'm being cryptic, but in case everything falls through I don't want to give too many details right now! I also don't want someone stealing my idea and branding name. Please do pray for me with this exciting opportunity for ministry and possibly a side income. I'm trusting God will move it forward as He's giving me the idea and bringing resources my way. I'm also praying about a second ministry opportunity that has come up simultaneously. They are very different, but both extremely effective, life changing, and would reach so many.

All that aside...

We have been trying to spend time together by taking little mini trips and mini dates as we can with Jason's long days. May has been a good month despite the separations, long hours, and late dinners. It's been nice to have a break of joy in the midst of an otherwise heavy season of life with all the healing, counseling, and TBS woes. They say pictures tell a thousand words and I do find visual stimulation a fantastic way to communicate. :)
