UPDATES: LIFE HAS CHANGED

9:31 PM

Wow...

As I go over the posts in this blog and rebuild my website, I see so many memories and tender moments over the years. It's been 6 years since those first adventures my handsome Marine and I went on.

So many pictures, such a fast paced life, and sadly the rest of it never made it on this blog.
For those of you who follow this blog, maybe subscribed, I apologize for just abandoning you.
Life got REAL. Life got less easy to follow and track. Marriage changed us. Marriage is a portal, a pillar and a path into the dark unknown of nets, ropes, twists and turns unexpected, but enlightening.

I can't even begin to explain it all right now. There's just too much. My hope is one day it will all be dished out like a big pot of soup whose ingredients have been added and stirred over years of marriage.

The important thing is we are happy.

We are BLESSED.

God has been SO good to us and been carrying us through all the good times and hard times.
When I got married, we had no idea what our life would look like.

We had no idea that the Marine Corps would send us from East coast to West Coast and then back to East coast in barely 6 years.  Count 4 moves in 5 years. That is A LOT of moving in such a short amount of time.

We didn't see coming a PTSD diagnosis while stationed at Quantico and a discovery of learning I'm aspergers while stationed at Norfolk in January 2020.

I didn't see a business being created 4 years ago centered around my beloved Blogger platform (the blog platform this is on). But it happened. It wasn't easy to build. I got hurt along the way. I learned lessons that I carry into my future, and I learned to just not care about what people think. EVERYONE has their own opinion and you can never please everyone.

SHAMELESS AD PLUG :P

We both are learning to trust God more through the yuck. Our relationship with God grows individually and we see Him working in ways we never dreamed would happen. Our close church family in all the different states produce beautiful, supportive, encouraging, and lasting relationships. We thank God for friendships like these.

I never dreamed of having a ministry. Of hearing God's voice so clearly and being called to something fresh, new, and needed. So many miraculous things occurred with me in my years, but nothing like in 2019, 2020, and now 2021. Jason witnessed it all and is the best support a husband could give. God enjoys playing with the flexibility of our lives to do what He wants.

I always want to serve God with everything in me. One of my favorite quotes you'll find me saying is:
"MY LIFE IS NOT MY OWN".

SO WHERE ARE WE TODAY?

Well, my business exploded for awhile (it's in transition and Covid 19 recovery right now.)

My second venture but also my calling in life as I've learned recently is Scripture Prescriptions Ministries and writing to heal. I am now Biblically discipling aspergers/ASD communities that struggle with mental and emotional health from all kinds of abuse including spiritual and church/faith abuse. I do this through networking systems I've put together and Biblical resources of all kinds, which you can read more about through the menu of this new website released this year!

I started a Facebook Community called The Healing Place that I plan on growing and using this year to bring together a tighter community and help many people heal from wounds.

A sample video of one of my spiritual resources on my youtube channel to go along with it!

I started very recently an email newsletter to help deliver these posts when I write them and to keep in better touch with you!

To sign up for this you can go HERE. NO SPAM EVER!

I started a local community organization called LoveYourNeighbor514 to help my Senior citizen and shut-in neighbors make it through Covid and recover. It has been a blessing to so many and I was even featured on the radio for it! I currently am running a campaign to raise funds for this! You can give HERE!

I am a published author officially now! At the end of this post you will see my book and a link to learn more about it! :)

AND we will be moving AGAIN. Sometime this spring we will find out where the next location will be. We submitted a few different locations. One will be the BIGGEST change and transition of our marriage so far, but I know God is with us!

There's so much more that has happened but I will leave it there for now.

I am starting a daily practice of writing in this blog as a separate series. I also will be transferring my articles on medium to this blog as well as a separate series.
The reason I am going to do this is to record my life, thoughts, and spiritual journey in ways that would be a blessing to my family, friends, and those who come across this. To leave a sort of legacy behind in addition to books I'm writing.

Also to practice my writing skill. After losing my writing skills I used to have from a lightning storm striking my hard drive, I realize I fell into an autistic burnout from trauma for YEARS. Writing is a struggle ever since, but I'm not letting that stop me. Writing is how I express myself so I will continue doing my best writing.
Whether this is ever read by anyone or ends up being a public journal of my own thoughts, I'm encouraged to write anyway, even if for only ONE.

Thank you Melissa Desveaux, Heather Holleman, Carole Jean, and everyone else who encourages me to not give up the pen!

If you're interested in more blog posts from our life adventures, (I have a ridiculous amount of pictures...) let me know in the comments and I will work them into a schedule for this year. :)

Thank you for reading this life update! Do explore my brand new website! I'm working on it with my ever tweaking ways :P, but there's lots of goodness to explore!
